I Prefer Cardio for My Exercise

I love to get outside for a run, hike, walk, or bike ride. When it’s nasty out, I’ll use a treadmill at home, or go to the gym, but it’s just not the same.

Plus, when you’re outside, you’ve got the sunshine, fresh air, and beautiful scenery, unless you live in a drab spot.

It’s not well rounded, and I know that, so I’ve been trying to incorporate some strength into the mix.

I came across a quick exercise routine to do before the shower, and I’ve been mixing it in lately.

  • 50 jumping jacks
  • 20 crunches
  • 20 mountain climbers
  • 30 second plank

I will work in some weights and other exercises, too, because the 5 minutes is obviously not enough each day.

    You are headed in the right direction. In my opinion the key to most fitness goals is nutrition, especially for fat loss.

    I don’t go overboard. i try to keep it simply and eat as well as I am able.

      I am mostly eating well, but fell off the wagon a little this week with lots of tasty restaurant temptations and drinks. Back to being disciplined… until the next time. 🙂
